The Story
The Little Orange Cart started pretty simply. I love baking, and somewhere in the middle of life with three little boys, I decided to turn that hobby into something a little bigger. So we got an orange cart, filled it with homemade goodies, and figured we’d see what happened! So… I guess we’re doing this. 🧡 The cart will be out on Saturday mornings (9am) with fresh-baked treats, and the menu will change from week to week. Cinnamon rolls will always have a pretty important place around here, but I’m excited to try new things and see what everyone loves!! Thanks for being here and for supporting our little adventure. Rollin' It Forward
One of the things we've talked about since starting The Little Orange Cart is how much this community has shown up for us, so we wanted to find a way to give some of that love right back. Every so often, we'll pick somewhere local and bring them some cinnamon rolls as a little thank you for all they do for our community — and we'll keep sharing where we land along the way.
Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department
For our first Rollin' It Forward, we knew we wanted to start with the firehouse right up the street from us. They helped our family during a moment that was every parent's worst nightmare — our son choked shortly after we started solids, and we'll never forget the way they stepped in when we needed help. Getting to bring them some cinnamon rolls as a little thank you felt pretty special.
